My Favourite Book : Playing the Enemy: Nelson Mandela and the Game That Made a Nation, by John Carlin

I was discussing "favourites" with a friend, at the bar, the other night and the subject of books came up.

Playing The Enemy is a most incredible story and says a lot about the characters of the individuals concerned; Nelson Mandela, Francois Pineaar and many others.

If you have no interest in rugby or even sport then don't be put off because this book describes an amazing period of world history.
